Garden House Hostel – Barcelona

08031 Barcelona

Near Trinitat Nova metro station  (Green line, L3)

The Garden House Hostel in Barcelona is located in the exceptionally beautiful district of Horta in a gigantic old house that was built around the turn of the twentieth century.

The staff at Garden House speak exceptional English and are delightful in their friendliness. Nothing beyond the ridiculous  is too much trouble for them.

Horta is a stunning and airy green zone at the top of Barcelona where you will find parks and vistas and a very authentic neighbourhood lived in by Catalan families and that sees very little tourism.

The team at Garden house are always ready to provide you with clear information about the places to see and visit throughout both Barcelona and the rest of Spain. They can talk to you about excursions and organised sightseeing trips.

There is a small kitchen with facilities for doing laundry, if you’ve been on the road a while.

Also they supply free lockers and towels and linen are included in the price.

The rooms are ensuite and both the rooms and bathrooms are very clean and well kept.

There is free wi-fi in the common areas and a beautiful garden area where you can chill out, smoke, enjoy a green tea or something dirtier but tastier if you will. A large lounge with cosy sofas is a great spot to catch up on emails, keep in contact with friends or just read your book.

There is a rooftop terrace if you want to catch a glimpse of the stunning city of Barcelona spreading out below you like discombobulated lego.

A beautiful spot if you want to enjoy Barcelona but go back somewhere more quiet and peaceful when you have incapacitated yourself looking at Gaudi’s creations.
