Very close to Placa Catalunya is a new place where you can stop for coffee, get an ice-cream, crepes, salads and all kinds of things sweet and not so sweet.
It’s quite a vast space with different zones such as the Heladeria zone where you can get ice creams, smoothies and juices; or the creperia which surprisingly sells sweet and savoury crepes with all kinds of fillings along with Belgian waffles; the cafeteria zone sells coffees, sandwiches, hot chocolates, cakes and tarts; and the Cocina zone offers pastas, salads and larger meals.
The concept is a little bit like an airport food mall although the environment is much cleaner, classier and less depressing and you don’t have to take your shoes off and put them in a plastic tray or look forward to an anal probe if you accidentally appear a bit suspicious when you’re ordering your pain au chocolate.
The food is fresh tasting and the service is smiley and confident. There are loads of places to sit and the menu is vast. A good spot for a drink and a bit of a sit down, although Woki Organic Supermarket is just down the road if you want your drink and a bit of a sit down more on the organic side. This is a great place to come with kids as it’s colourful and the menu is so full of sugar you’ll probably get a rush just from reading it.
Not healthy but full of options for dirty snacks and drinks.
