Évora is an historic gem in the heart of rural Alentejo, Portugal. Its roots date back over 2,000 years and some relics of that age still remain today. Évora is the regional capital and boasts a fine university, several excellent parks, many picturesque squares and a whole host of attractions for sight-seers.
