Central Market (near RENFE)
Herboristeria Mercado is one of two herbal stores contained within the Market in Fuengirola. The other one – Herboristeria Dapcris is located on the same level at the entrance to the rear exit.
Both the herboristerias in the market are pretty awesome places. This one is bulging at the rafters with bottles, jars, packets, phials, cartons and blister packs of vitamin supplements, minerals, tinctures, powders, herbs, collodials, serums and the likes. It looks like they have everything you could possibly require – be it straightforward general vitamins and minerals to more curious collodial silvers and all that.
Herboristeria Mercado is like the Tardis – they’ve managed to cram the contents of an average-sized Wholefoods into a space slightly smaller than a post box.
Despite having only one vegetarian restaurant (Vegitalia) Fuengirola is particularly well equipped with organic shops and herboristerias. You might also want to try Biocasa, Bionatura Ekotienda, Naturalis, Nutrisalud, Polen or the other herberisteria: Dapocris.
