The modest but packed Historical Vehicle Museum near Guadalest houses a collection of over a hundred motorcycles, a handful of miniature cars and even a couple of antique lawn mowers, all dating from between 1920 and 1980.
Every item on display is kept in perfect condition.
Aside from the motorbikes and cars you’ll also be treated to some antique domestic machinery including typewriters, coffee makers, telephones, radios and sewing machines.
The Historical Vehicle Museum is owned and run by Ricard Fracés who has spent over 25 years lovingly restoring the machines on display. He feels that the vehicles and domestic appliances of the past should be seen by all, therefore opened the door to his museum so he could share that slice of history with visitors.
There is also a shop at the museum stocked with toy cars, motorbikes, car shaped clocks and other fun stuff.
The Historical Vehicle Museum is roughly 7km from Guadalest and has a large car park out front as well as a garden where refreshments are served.
