If you need to buy fruit and vegetables or visit two amazingly tiny but well-stocked Tardiss like herboristerias (for supplements, vitamins, tinctures and organic groceries) go no further than the Mercacentro. Open all day, they sell beautiful looking vegetables and have a great selection including yellow zucchini, and raw beetroot.
The Mercacento is just over the road from the RENFE station and a few minutes walk from the bus depot. And it doesn’t close for a siesta just when you need it.
