Puerta de la Duquesa, Manilva, Costa del Sol in Pictures

Puerta de la Duquesa may well be a yacht basin on the Costa del Sol but unlike its outrageously overpriced neighbour Puerta Banus and the extravagant Estepona, it doesn’t attract the same deck shoe, Porsche, polo shirt and cocktail crowd.

The area around Puerta de la Duquesa is much more sedate and the locals are warmer; more down to earth. Its gathering of shops and bars is quaint and reasonable enough, and prices for apartments are much lower than places further east.

Here is a gallery of Puerta de la Duquesa.
