Sagrada Familia – The Passion Facade

La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona is the pinnacle of Antoni Gaudi’s brilliance and his definitive masterpiece. Construction on the magnificent church began in 1882 but a year later Gaudi got involved and transformed the work with his architectural genius. Completion of the porject is estimated somewhere between 2026 and 2028, and seeing it for myself, all the detail and intricacies, it’s not hard to see why it has already taken almost 130 years to build.

Work on La Sagrada Familia is set to continue for another 14 to 16 years.

In a world where architecture has become so drab La Sagrada Familia is a reminder of how buildings should be crafted.
