Sukha Espai Vegetaria – Castelldefels

 Av Diagonal, 22

Monday to Friday
10:00hrs to 16:30hrs
20:30hrs to 23:30hrs
12:30hrs to 16:30hrs
20:30hrs to 23:30hrs

We were shocked when we found this vegetarian restaurant in Castelldefels, as there isn’t even a restaurant in nearby fashionable Sitges that specialises in cruelty-free cuisine.

Sukha is a beautiful, modern looking space that also has a wall for exhibiting photography and art.

The philosophy behind Sukha is to create a space dedicated to peace and harmony. And relax. They use organic and local products whenever available.

They have a daily menu (menu del dia) which consists of three courses and also includes water or wine, and bread. The cost is €12. If you would rather have a fresh juice rather than water or wine, then you pay a €1.50 supplement.

An example of the menu del dia is salad or soup for the first course; zucchini (courgette), cheese and potato croquettes or a Thai rice dish for the main course. And either cake of the day or fruit for the dessert. The menu del dia changes daily.

In the evening you can choose from the menu (carta). Primary dishes are Thai noodle soup with vermicelli; creamed eggplant with chapata bread; or endive, pomegranate, cheese and walnut salad.

Some of the main dishes you can choose from include ravioli in tomato and basil sauce; or wok-fried vegetables with jasmine rice.

Choose from fruit kebabs with hot chocolate; cured cheese and quince; or chocolate brownies with ice cream and nuts.

The food here at Sukha is great. The atmosphere and the spirituality of the place are absolutely lovely. A real gem of a place with great service.
