It might not exactly be local to you up in Sant Gervasi and a metro ride from the centre of Barcelona, but you can bet your yank boots that it’s more local than the US.
Up in the lovely Sant Gervasi at the back of Barcelona is the place where fairly uniquely you can get your mits on all things American, whether America is home to you or whether you’re just curiuos. Yep all those things you’ve been missing or have always wanted to try like mac and cheese, Hershey’s and peanut butter with jelly. Yay!
It’s way more expensive than stuff back home but let’s face it, each item has to pay for it’s own plane fare and so, a little profit in the pocket of he or she who organises the paperwork is not so bad.
So yeah, squishy marshmallows, Paul Newman’s cooking sauces, cereals such as Lucky Charms and Cheerios, root beer, deliciously creamy Hershey’s chocolate, bagels and all – or at least some – of your favorite comestibles from home.
You’ll find brands such as Pepperidge Farm, Tyrrells, Ganic Water, Duchy Originals, Mississippi Belle, Jack Links, Cardinis, Chatham Village, Taste of Nature, Dr Stuarts, Karimix, Arizona, Alan Coxon, Urban Fresh Fruit, Lizis Granola, Numi Organic Tea.
You can get Jolly Time popcorn, NY Bagels, Tesi Bon Cheese Balls, Chirpies Classic Cheese, Kel Pop Tarts, Nesquik powders, Skippy’s nut butters, Hot Tamales, Ice Breakers, Nerds, Wonky Laffy Taffy, Dr Stuart’s Candies, PAM olive oil and Quaker Instant Grits.
They also have an organic section and you can buy directly from the online shop if you are not in Barcelona.
