Templo Romano de Diana, on the edge of Jardim do Paco in Évora has been the site of much bloodshed in its near 2,000 years of existence. It was built in the second century AD and was used as a slaughterhouse and execution ground until 1870. Now it attracts the attention of many a camera lens as a well preserved monument in the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
