The sun was a constant source of difficulty on our hike through the Cares Gorge but I wouldn't have traded it for anything else.
The haze of the day softened the ragged peaks and cast a laziness over the Picos de Europa.

One the way to Cain the path seemed never ending. Gladly that wasn't the case.
These grey walls are home to a countless variety of wildlife, fauna and insects.
Nearing Cain we encountered one of the sub-stations on the Rio Cares and the entrance to the tunnel.
This is as close as I like to get to big electrical things.
