Costa del Sol
The port at Estepona port is a delight when it comes to restaurants, whether you want Italian food, vegetarian food, Thai food, Mexican food, ice cream, English breakfast, Irish food, fusion food, and heaven forbid, typical Spanish food.
Vice Versa gets a vote because the service is good, the staff friendly and has a few basic options for vegetarians.
There is nothing sensational here for the vegetarian strolling through but they are happy to mix and match. We had a large plate of fries here and a plate of nachos with guacamole. Both were good quality – nothing spectacular but tasty and welcome at 11pm on a Friday night.
We also had a crepe with banana, nuts and nutella which was fresh and tasty.
The prices at Vice Versa are good and there is a lovely outdoor terrace where you can scoff and watch in comfort, cooled ever so slightly by the sea breeze as the yachting fraternity totter by.
All the restaurants along this stretch have outdoor space so are dog friendly and you really can pick and choose. Like I said, the food here isn’t fabulous but the guy that served was so friendly and the service so speedy that we couldn’t help but like the place. The port has some great places to eat. We also liked De La Mar a few seconds away who do great breakfasts to suit many different European palates.
