Here are some more glorious spots that offer free wi-fi in central Barcelona but there are bound to be a ton more. Most of those mentioned below are either vegetarian, vegan or at least vegetarian-friendly due to the nature of our diet and the purpose of this website. Sorry about that if you are an internet-seeking carnivore. We’ll be sure to add more free wi-fi spots as soon as we discover them.
Baixada Viladecols, 2 08002
This is a stunning little teteria or teashop hidden away in El Gotico with a very attractive interior and a good range of drinks both hot and cold. You can disappear in here for hours and I generally do. Besides a great range of teas and internet, they also have cakes, snacks, cookies, juices, lassis and hookah pipes. And live music sometimes (although that seems to be courtesy of innovative buskers) if that’s not enough. There are plug sockets behind the bar on the left as you go in.
C Dels Angels, 3 08001
A lovely vegan restaurant where you can waste a couple of hours supping fruit juices, chomping on crunchy salads and surfing the internet. You can also eat fairly cheaply with their menu del dia which consists of three courses, bread and a drink. They have great green juices and the salads are very reasonable for the size. Plug sockets can be found upstairs at either end of the room.
Carrer de Valldonzella, 48 08001
Gorgeous teashop, restaurant and treatment centre where you can have a massage, a facial, lunch, tea, get online and buy gifts. What more is there? Watch you don’t fall down the glass subterranean oubliettes on your way in. A great choice of properly prepared teas await you. There is a sofa for you to sit on at the back whilst you tea and internet.
There is a lovely and relaxing healthy environment here, at least if you avoid lunch time when it gets crowded.
Calle Ferran 23 08001
Marginally soul-less but attractive enough Barcelona stalwart located on calle Ferran (main street leading from La Rambla toward Laeitana). Good in the mornings when croissants, sandwiches and internet is served. A couple of vegetarian-friendly items have found themselves onto the menu possibly accidentally. On the right-hand-side at the back (towards the toilets) a couple of the smaller tables will allow you to get online.
